So since my last entry, I've been to a couple of shows, in state and out of state. Went to Wilkes Barre and hung out with the WB Pound/Lost Boys. Good seeing Ned, Ben, Saba, Shane, Jamie, Dan, Alex and Rifkin. New Bad Seed song is hard. New Title Fight 7'' is going to rule.

Backtrack had their record release. Like 30 people in Dog Pound shirts moshing. Hard. Good show. Got a couple of dives in. Mind Piece played a scab set last night. Band either needs to get back together or do more scab sets.

I love sweet sauce pizza.

I think I'm going to see a doctor soon about my insomnia. I can't fall asleep before 10am anymore, and when I do fall asleep I only get a chance to take a 3 hour nap. This is fucking ridiculous. Fix me. Fix my head.

Just got the new Violation and new Ceremony.

New Violation is a rager. Constant headbanging

New Ceremony is going to be in the top 5 albums of 08 without a doubt. Blows away Violence Violence in my opinion

This is the earliest I've been awake in such a long time, and I'm loving it. The Have Heart/Verse show on Saturday was really cool. New venue, WITH A STAGE?! Lord of mercy. Tons of dives, and they're letting Ronie do more shows there. So sick. The pool party afterward was ridiculous, it was like a lagoon in the depths of Suffolk county. Me, Pat, Dan and Aaron clowning on kids that were on E the entire night. so funny. The show Sunday was sweet too. Backtrack is quickly becoming the best band on this island. Capital is always good, but even better when they cover Burn and Descendents. Pool party at Chris Smith's afterward was nuts. Pool mosh, innertube wars, slides and dives. Into it.

- Short End played our first show on Friday. Kids moshed. It ruled. Backtrack got an insane reaction. LIHC is on an upswing right now and it's awesome.
- We're gonna record a demo hopefully in the next couple of weeks. It'll be hard, I promise you.
- The new Cold World album is slowly growing on me. At first I hated all of it besides 2 songs, now I'm up to liking 6 out of 14 songs. The new Trash Talk lp however is the meanest thing I've heard in a while. Albini's producing is great on it.
- Issue 2 of Miles To Go Fanzine is pretty much done. I just got to review records and layout a couple of things. Trying to get it out for the Have Heart show Saturday.

Have you ever tried to tell someone something, but just couldn't bring yourself to do it? I feel like this has been happening to me a lot lately. God damn it.

I had work yesterday, for the first time in my entire life. It went pretty damn well. I opened and closed, wuzzuuppppp.

After that I headed to LI for my cousin's graduation party, then headed out to Suffolk with Drew to chill with Dan, Aaron, Ronie, Hernik and Ricky. Later on met up with Vitalo, went in his pool for a while, had some chaos and ate some damn good stuffed shells.

Drew lost in uno and had to shave a dollar sign in his head. I really wish I was there for that. I miss everyone on Long Island, especially my Dog Pound dudes.

Pat, Dan and myself are probably getting an apartment in Bensonhurst over the summer, and for next year.

I have band practice tomorrow, I'm really excited to actually be in a band that practices, and that tours.

I've been working on issue 2 of me and RKB's zine, and it's looking pretty good so far content wise. Terror, Meltdown, Trapped Under Ice, and a The Wrong Side interview, as well as a West Coast scene report by Lee of Trash Talk, a top 5 with Chucky Edge and some other stuff. Trying to get that out for the end of spring/beginning of summer, and this time the print quality won't be awful.

I've finally gotten psyched on photography again. I actually want to go out and take pictures for once. I haven't had that feeling in a while. I had a portfolio review that went really well, I guess that had something to do with it. I don't know. I want to shoot more medium format, but I need to get a different camera instead of my Diana+ for that. I mean the pics on the diana come out cool, but I want an actual medium format camera.

I need to get a job as soon as I get out of school. In the city. Not Jersey. Fuck New Jersey. I can't believe I'm a fucking New Jersey resident. What the fuck is that bullshit?

I haven't eaten meat in a while. I'm really proud of myself for that. I feel a lot better morally and health wise. JJ is sending me a book or two on vegetarianism and...krishna? We'll see how that goes...I do want to learn more about it, but there's no way I'd ever be a devotee.

I want to get tattooed real soon. Straight edge tattoo coming up, for sure.

Why the fuck am I up. In 2 hours I'll have been up for 24 hours. I haven't done an all nighter in a minute. Damn.
